Lekhi Public School is one among the budding schools of the state. It is started by Er Tarh Hari in the 2011-12 academic session at Lekhi Village, Naharlagun in the Papumpare district of Arunachal Pradesh, as one of the pilot projects of the Old Mengio Multipurpose Society registered vide its registration No SR/ITA/2097 dated 29th Oct 2003.
The school has a campus of around two acres accommodating students from Class Nursery to Class XII (Sc.).
